Deep Gratitude

Vanaja Ammanath is that rare combination of strength and tenderness.
She is compassionate and insightful while being reliably direct and clear.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vanaja as a therapist. We need more clinicians like her in the world.

Vanaja is a versatile, aware and empathetic person. This displays certainly in her professional life as a Trainer, Group Therapist and Supervisor. Ethical and Competent, her sessions are a balance of experiential and theoretical perspectives. Her sessions have provided me with a plethora of information on a professional and personal level.

Thank you so much, Vanaja.

Vanaja is very passionate and dedicated towards her work. She provides a very safe platform for learning and growth. I feel grateful to have someone like her in India as a gestalt therapist trainer. Her experiences and ability to connect with clients and trainees itself brings in a lot of healing. She made me believe in myself and it has been a pleasure to grow under her guidance.

Dr. Vanaja had taught me during the last semester of my M.Sc Counselling course. Of all of the courses that I had gone through during my Master’s programme, Dr. Vanaja’s was definitely one of the most interesting and immersive. With excellent knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to connect with the student, I found it very easy to learn. Her classes were always filled with interesting anecdotes, or activities, all bent on making the subject matter all the more palatable to the student. She is very warm and attentive when one needs to reach out, and is always helpful when asked queries. Overall Dr. Vanaja’s classes were one of the most interesting and absorbing during my Master’s programme.

My experience of Vanaja has had a lifetime effect on me. She is one of those people who have immense potency; she is able to step into challenging interpersonal situations, which others might avoid, in a calm, assertive but non-confrontational manner so that we feel acknowledged and valued and conflict can be resolved. I still use some of her solution methodologies regularly in my coaching sessions with CXO level Leaders and find them absolutely invaluable. If you can engage with Vanaja, please do, you too will be blessed.

Ms. Vanaja Ammanath taught me English Literature in Junior college. As a science student who was looking to excel in Science subjects to get into an Elite engineering college, English was not on top of my priority. But the course was taught so amazingly well that not just me but all the others in class also made sure that they attended Ms. Ammanath’s lecture. Some of the examples and role plays that she used to explain the topics are still vivid in my mind. Legacy of a teacher is when students remember the teaching style and the lessons taught by a teacher. Ms. Ammanath left an indelible mark on the minds of all us geeky Science students.

Lake Montfort School, Bangalore organised a one-day seminar on the 10th of May 2017. The facilitator Mrs. Vanaja Ammanath, Psychologist and Faculty at Christ University shared her views on the topic of ‘Self Esteem – A System Perspective’. The seminar was very thought provoking, encouraging and was a great success. It was highly appreciated by the faculty. The main feature of this presentation was on how we deal with issues that alter our self-esteem and how to cope up with concerns and challenges the family. Mrs Vanaja made us aware of the baggage that some of us could be carrying, reflect within and modify ourselves that could help us edifying lifestyle. She made sure that her sessions were responsive and included an activity.
At the end of the session we were all refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to face the challenges that come our way.
